Board of Director Nominations

Montezuma Valley Irrigation Company is accepting letters of interest from stockholders interested in serving on the Board of Directors from the Lebanon and McElmo Districts for a three year term. To be eligible a stockholder must own at least 10 shares of Class A stock and either reside or take delivery of 10 shares or more of the water owned by them in the District they wish to represent. District maps are available at the MVIC office. Letters of interest must be received in the office prior to December 12.

Water Season

Allocation is set at 4.01 AF (48 inches) per share for 2019. This is a full allocation.

Water is scheduled to be  turned off on October 15, 2019 

or sooner if a shareholder's allocation has been met.

Stock ponds will need to be filled prior to October 15.

Please call the office to request stock water.

No water, including leases will be delivered until the shareholder account is paid in full.  Assessments due by March 31.



Monthly Board Meetings

Every 2nd Tuesday of each month

Time:  1:00 p.m.

Board Executive Session:  1:00-2:00 p.m.

Open Business Meeting begins:  2:00 p.m.

Location:  MVIC Office

No business or decisions will be discussed before 2:00 p.m.

Annual Stockholder Meeting

The third Saturday of January

 Shares For Lease

A lease form must be completed and returned to our office for the lease to become effective.  The form must be signed by both parties.  Leases are to be renewed annually. 

Fees for form submittal are:

$25 before April 15th of each year

$50 after April 15th of each year

If you have water you are not using, you can lease it to anyone that can receive delivery of water in MVIC's system.  The lease price is between you and the party you are making the lease with.  

You will not lose your shares if you are not using them.

MVIC will not be spraying weeds on right-of-ways.  It is the responsibility of landowners to control weeds on their property.
